Tutorial Research and Innovation Days

We were asked to produce a tutorial video for R&I days event in 2021. European Research and Innovation Days is the European Commission’s annual flagship Research and Innovation event, bringing together policymakers, researchers, entrepreneurs and the public to debate and shape the future of research and innovation in Europe and beyond.

Due to Covid, a large part of the event was held online, therefore instructions were necessary to demonstrate to the thousands of participants how to create an account and navigate the virtual event. The decision to make this video was decided at the last minute, but we still found the time to film the moderator, Jennifer Baker, using her voice and image as the tutorial guide throughout the video. We then recorded screen movements in real-time for the step-by-step instructions, using the first-person perspective as a visual aid.
